Surf's up!
By far, the number one attraction in Myrtle Beach is the beach itself. With 60 miles of playful surf and sand, there's room for everyone and something for everyone to do either in or out of the water. Myrtle Beach Pelicans - Watch professional baseball for a fraction of the cost. The Pelicans, an Atlanta Braves Class A affiliate, were the Carolina League champions in 1999 and 2000.

Ocean Water Sports - Take full advantage of the Atlantic coastline by parasailing high above the ocean, bouncing along the waves on a banana boat ride or by paddling an ocean kayak.

Deep Sea Fishing - Many deep sea fishing charters are available. Experts will provide the what, where, when and how-to required for a fun and rewarding fishing experience.

The Carolina Opry - A live music variety show featuring some of the nation's top singers, dancers, comedians and musicians set in a 2,200-seat theater with state-of-the-art sound and lighting and three giant video screens.

Brookgreen Gardens - Enjoy a relaxing outing at this world-renowned outdoor garden showcasing the works of nearly 250 American sculptors.

Alligator Adventure - One of the largest reptile parks in the world, this 20-acre wetland habitat incorporates wooden boardwalks and natural settings. Check out the alligators, lizards, komodo dragons, turtles, frogs, snakes, tropical birds and even tigers!

Fox & Hounds Antiques Mall - This mini mall setting provides a wide variety of antique vendors offering everything from china to glassware to furniture.

Dolly Parton's Dixie Stampede - This unique dinner adventure features a friendly rivalry between the North and the South, a delicious meal, spectacular horsemanship and a rousing show. Keep your eyes open for the Ostrich race and other surprises.

Myrtle Beach has more than it's share of options for even the most die-hard shoppers! For starters, there are three traditional malls offering large anchor department stores. Toss is some exceptional factory outlets, a variety of flea markets plus some boardwalk shopping and you have a shopper's extravaganza.
